Take a day cruise from Athens to the fabulous Greek islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina for a relaxing day on the sea. With all your transport, transfers, and buffet lunches organized, you can sit back and enjoy your leisurely day cruise with free time on each island to explore. After transferring from Athens to Piraeus by motor coach, you'll set sail for the island of Poros, where you'll have free time for strolling and shopping.

Next, it's on to the island of Hydra. You will have about 1 hour and 45 minutes at leisure to enjoy the unique charms of Hydra island, whose amphitheater shape once served as a safe shelter for Saronic Pirates. From the decks, you will be able to admire the very special architecture and dramatic landscapes of this island, whose old traditional stone houses and mansions silently stand witness to a long and turbulent history.

Upon arrival in Egina (Aegina), you can either join an excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (cost not included) or take a walk around the main town. Aegina is one of the Saronic Islands of Greece in the Saronic Gulf. The lovely island is only 31 miles (50 kilometers) from Athens and is a popular getaway for Athenians during the summer months.

After sailing back to Piraeus port you'll be transferred to Athens.

Highlights:

Poros island

Hydra island

Aegina island

Optional tours in Aegina (Panoramic island tour - Temple of Apfaia)

Greek dance show and music on board

KNOW SOME MORE ABOUT POROS BEFORE YOU VISIT:

Poros is comprised of two islands, Sphairia and Kalavria, of which the former is a volcanic rock and the latter is planted with pine trees. Poros are easily accessible from Piraeus (Ferries depart from Gate E8 in Piraeus) and from Peloponnese (Galatas). Although a small island, its history, sights, and beaches compensate all visitors.

The first thing to see when entering the port and landmark of the island is the clock tower, built in 1927 on the highest top of the hill. Totally worth climbing as the view is breathtaking to watch, especially during sunset.

All the beaches of Poros are accessible by bus, car, bike, or by foot, and offer beach chairs, umbrellas, and canteens. The sandy beach of Kanali is located after the small bridge that connects Sphairia and Kalavria, just 5 minutes from the center of the town.

Askeli is the largest and most popular beach on the island. Only 3 km away from the port, visitors can find many restaurants, café-bars, and supermarkets as well as a water ski school.

The old historical Holy Monastery of Zoodochos Pege of Poros is located 4 km east of the main city of Poros island and is built on the slope of a pine forest. It was founded in 1720 by the Archbishop of Athens as an expression of gratitude for his cure after drinking from the holy water springing near the Holy Monastery.
